#LifeandStyle Sunglasses designer Karen Walker has made the Kenyan artisans who worked on her summer 2014 collection the stars of her latest campaign.

Karen Walker, was working with the United Nations' ITC Ethical Fashion Initiative and used the talents of local Kenyan artisans but she wanted to use their faces too.

Those photographed included machinists, cutters, tailors, production managers and metal workers as well as members of the Maasai group who create the more elaborate beading work seen on the pouches.

Her glasses are spectacularly crazy, bold and colourful. You get a real feeling of the models in the photographs and their involvement in the whole process. A great mix of cultures which really works.
